We associate the month of July with sun and sea, and especially with islands. Luckily, we Ibizans are in the Mediterranean, and now is when the heat kicks in and it’s time to take a dip in the sea. But that’s not all.
It’s like the summer was just made for us to enjoy, especially our free time, our significant others, our children, and our friends. In truth, Ibiza helps everything to feel great, and even more so in a luxury apartment.

The title of this post might suggest photo captions to the most perceptive of minds, imagining them printed or handwritten, on an album, maybe a summary or a recollection of your summer in Ibiza.
It’s just that these summer days are the Plan 10 that we are all probably waiting for. The quadruple sun-sea-luxury apartment-Ibiza combination is, undoubtedly, the best in the whole Mediterranean and the whole world.

Plan 10 #3. The island’s best parties on the doorstep of your luxury apartment in Ibiza

We’re continuing with our suggestions for your Plan 10 in Ibiza and now it’s time to write a few words about the season’s opening parties.
During the month of May and until well into October, Ibiza undeniably becomes the centre of the world when it comes to electronic music. You already know about house, dance, funk…although there’s all types of music, like you can hear in Pachá.
If you want to kick off the party season by going to the best bars and nightclubs, book yourself a few days away to the island. We’ll have a luxury apartment ready and waiting for you.

Sunday 28 May Opening party at Hï Ibiza. The old Space opens this year under this label, although it’s nothing like what it once was because it’s being promoted by the Usuahïa group.
As you can see, Thursday and Saturday will be like a half marathon, while the whole of the four days together will be like you’re completing a full marathon. It’s just one more reason for booking one of our luxury apartments so you can enjoy a well-deserved break in between all those parties.

Plan 10 #1. Practise sport on the doorstep of your luxury apartment in Ibiza

In our first post of the year, we told you about the huge advantages of retreating to Ibiza for four days at any time of year, regardless of the excuse.
Today, with spring just around the corner, we suggest you do so and take advantage of the opportunity to practise sport in the great outdoors.
To start enjoying hours of sport, all you need to do is land on the island, settle into your luxury apartment from Ibiza Luxury and then step out the front door.
Play golf The Club de Golf de Ibiza golf course is just a ten minute car journey from our apartments in the Terrazas de Botafoch and Bahía de Ibiza buildings.
The course is located in a gorgeous natural setting, nestled between small hills and the sea. There are two courses, an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course, which is better suited to players of a medium-high handicap. In any case, and since we don’t know your handicap, the long course, which is slightly more difficult, is beautiful and fun.
If you don’t bring your own clubs, you can rent them from the clubhouse, where you can also hire a golf buggy (although we’re in favour of going around the course on foot).
Cycling routes If you’re wanting to venture out on your bike, you can explore (almost) the entire island. There are two types of routes: easy and difficult. However, we would like to suggest a particular route which is both easy and beautiful, designed by ibizamtb.com, which you can find here. And if you have chosen one of our luxury apartments in Ibiza Royal Beach for your stay, the route starts and ends at the building’s front door.
Important: renting a bike. You can rent a bike and equipment from Kandani, who also offer a home delivery and collection service, route assistance and, should you wish, they can even organise the route for you.
Go kayaking Lots can be done with 200 kilometres of coastline. Some such examples include short kayaking trips.
There are trips that last between 2 and 4 hours long, where you can discover an Ibiza which is only accessible from the sea. These can’t be reached with all types of boat, but it is possible to reach them by a small canoe.
Ibikayak.com suggests one along the cliffs of Talamanca, which is 2 hours long. And Talamanca beach is just a 5 minute walk from your luxury apartment in Botafoch.

CHRISTMAS IN A LUXURY IBIZA APARTMENT

Many people don’t consider going to Ibiza for a getaway during their short Christmas holidays.
It’s true that Ibiza isn’t a traditional destination to visit during this period. However, if you’re interested in coming, it will surprise you. And not because it’s going to snow on the island.

OLDIES BUT GOODIES

Whether sitting (or lying down, as you prefer) on the terrace of one of our luxury seafront apartments in Ibiza, while contemplating the calmness of the boats moored in the port, set against a blue sky background with the first chill of Autumn tempered by a bright and dazzling sun; it’s no joke, this is paradise on earth.
In such a scene of total bliss, calm and tranquillity, the imagination is triggered by the workings of the neural energy that retrieves those recollections hidden by the memory, jealous of the present day island.
So, the terrace. Close your eyes. Timeless tunes, oldies but goodies, playing on your Smartphone. Music that harks back to the cries and memories of another Ibiza, a precursor to the Ibiza of today.
Summer 1978. Bob Marley and the Wailers performed their only concert in Spain. Back then, Ibiza was a mecca for people who worshiped good vibes. As you can see in the concert poster’s image, they performed in the former bull ring. In the place where the former bullring occupied, you can now find the Bob Marley gardens.
1969. Pink Floyd played the soundtrack for the film More, by Barbet Schroeder. The film is a realistic representation of the island’s ‘hippiest’ era: free love, hard drugs and wild sex. One song stands out from the soundtrack: Ibiza Bar
May 1987. Barcelona, written by Freddy Mercury and performed as a duet with the soprano Montserrat Caballé, was first performed in Ibiza. It was during the Ibiza ‘92 festival amid the 5th centenary celebrations of the discovery of America, where it would have its grand finale, of course, in 1992. The performance took place in the Ku nightclub –now called Privilege– and both stars sang the song, which so expertly fused opera and rock, by lip-synching.
As we said before, Ibiza has some well known secrets. You surely have some too. But we’re not going to ask you to shout them from the rooftops.

3 reasons why September is the best month to enjoy a luxury Ibiza apartment

You’ll surely agree with us that all good things come to an end. And you’ll also agree that the best is often saved for last. That’s why September is the last month of summer.
And the best is yet to come, because September is an amazing month for enjoying our luxury apartments in Ibiza. And, as it just so happens, it’s also the perfect time to enjoy all the magic the white isle has to offer.
But, what’s so good about Ibiza in September?
Well, we could fill a whole book with answers. There’s so many great things to be discovered if you decide to take a trip to Ibiza for a few days in September. However, seeing as we love a good trilogy, we’ll stick to what we know and provide you with 3 reasons.
Reason #1
If you’ve been to Ibiza in August, you’ll notice that there are far fewer people on the island. But don’t worry, you’ll still see “cool” people wherever you go. There won’t be any famous footballers or F1 drivers left (although the latter might turn up for two or three days between races).
With less people around it’ll be much easier to find a free sun lounger or table at your favourite beach club. Also, if you fancy hiring a boat, you’ll have no problems getting one for a day out at sea or in Formentera, or for getting lost in the North of the island and finding a secluded beach.
However, there are places, like Lío, where you can’t get a table, even in September.
Reason #2
If you like the music and the atmosphere that emanates from the best Ibiza nightclubs, then you’re in luck.
Because September marks a bid farewell to the best summer parties. We’re talking, of course, about the Pachá, Privilege, Space and Ushuaia Closing Parties.
As we said at the start of this post, remember that the best is often saved for last.

August in Ibiza: luxury apartments and boats

As you know, August in Ibiza is a scorcher, and the high temperatures of the summer heat wave are pretty hot too.
Thanks to what we can safely say is the best sea in the world, Ibiza’s high temperatures aren’t too hard to bear. Take one dip now and another later. Then head back to lie under the shade of an umbrella or to soak up the sun. There’s something for everyone.
It’s also essential to be able to enjoy air conditioning or the sea breeze on the terrace of a luxury apartment. Especially when the sun’s gone down and the night air feels so tropical.
Our luxury apartments in Ibiza are right on the seafront and contain excellent air conditioning systems… but what about if the heat gets too much? A dip in the pool will cool you down. And our 3 Ibiza Royal Beach, Terrazas de Botafoch and Bahía de Ibiza buildings are all equipped with their own pool. And they’re at your complete disposal.
Another way to escape the August heat, while still enjoying the sea and the sun, is to hire a boat and set out to sea. This is always a good idea.
Please note that there are boats docked near your luxury apartment in the Bahía de Ibiza building which are available for hire. The photo below was taken from the Capri terrace.
In Ibiza there are plenty of coves where it’s easy to drop your anchor. And once you’re anchored, you can just picture it: swim, drink, swim, eat, swim, siesta, swim. Enjoy the island until the sun goes down.
On the other hand, maybe you’ll decide that, seeing as you’ve hired a boat, you should spend the day with our little sister: Formentera. Only 35 minutes away by boat, another paradise awaits you where you can enjoy the best that summer has to offer.
And once you’ve docked your boat in the port, you can go back and enjoy your luxury apartment until the Ibiza nightlife steals you away.

We are in the middle of summer, the month named in honour of Caesar.
Julius Caesar is relevant here, because of the month in which we are publishing this post, but also because it is well known that the Romans (of course, not all of them) were well acquainted with exquisite luxuries. This is why Lucullus is known as the immortal archetype of luxury.
And we want to talk to you about luxury. And Ibiza is it. One breathes in luxury at each cardinal point on the island.

The Chiringuito de Sa Punta or the Chiringuito de María, which we have always called “The 4 cans” is one of Ibiza’s memorable “places” where you can experience this other kind of luxury.
The Chiringuito, or beach bar, is on a cliff-face in Sa Punta (Talamanca beach) and it is literally a demountable place (outside the summer season, the only thing remaining is the memory) where the kitchen’s main purpose is to cook fresh fish for you.
Although they will sing the menu out to you, as everything is fresh daily, you may end up eating whatever they have left. Whatever happens, you will have a luxurious meal, not to mention the sea breeze and the atmosphere.
Then, we will leave it up to you to decide if you want to bathe at the foot of the cliff-face, or if you prefer to return to your Ibiza Luxury apartment to enjoy the luxury of a siesta on the terrace. Whether you do it with a glass of champagne or not – that’s also up to you.

June brings with it a new summer. And the sunny season is, obviously, the busiest time of year on the island.
The white island becomes noisy, bustling, lively and playful: the beaches, the streets, the clubs… Everything is alive with music, colour and beauty. And all with the Spanish sun and the Mediterranean sea, the best sea in the world.
The music that is played at the beach clubs, like Nassau or the Blue Marlin, and the well-known parties at Ushuaia or Pachá, at Amnesia or at Space.

How to advertise a luxury apartment and be effective in the process: that’s what we want to tell you about in today’s post. But whether or not we’ve been successful is up to you to decide.
Have you ever watched any videos that showcase luxury apartments? There are many examples on YouTube. A video is certainly a great medium for showing off a space and all of its features.
Basically, we had two options: create a video just like all the others or be different. And since here at Ibiza Luxury we consider ourselves to be a company with a very strong identity and we view Ibiza, our terrain, as unique in the world, we decided to do something different.
You won’t see many other luxury apartment videos which not only show off the apartment but also tell you a story.
For that reason, it’s a film. For that reason, you’ll see how you could live in this apartment in Ibiza from dawn until dusk. For that reason, the music is original.

Our goal was to persuade you, since you’re the viewer. We wanted to make your “visit” to the apartment pleasant, whilst giving you the chance to pretend that you’re the star of the video and imagine yourself enjoying this wonderful and sophisticated apartment. May in Ibiza: Opening nights here, there and everywhere

The month of May marks a turning point in the Ibiza season.
Perhaps it’s because the temperatures are turning milder, the days are getting longer – as the sun streams in – there are more (and bigger) aeroplanes arriving to Es Codolar and, in general, the island is coming to life (and becoming livelier with all the people who come to visit our Mediterranean paradise).
What’s certain is that – largely as a result of what we were saying in the previous paragraph – May brings an enormous number of Opening nights: beach clubs, street markets, night clubs and parties…
And today, as the month begins, we’re going to talk about the most exclusive and the most luxurious Opening nights on the island. We’re not just talking about on our own island, but also those of our neighbour, Formentera, too.
Maybe you’ll miss out on some of these opening nights… or maybe you won’t. Either way, when you get to Ibiza and you make yourself comfortable in our luxury apartments, you shouldn’t miss out on visiting one of these places, at least once.
To go to the Opening night of El Beso, you’ll need a boat (see the photo taken from the terrace of our CAPRI apartment in the Bahía de Ibiza building. You can find boats on barcoibiza.com – so you don’t even have to leave the house).
That’s because, as you may or may not already be aware, El Beso is on Formentera. Its 2016 season begins on 14 May. At El Beso, you’ll find sun and moon, beach and sea, paella and wine, mojitos and beers, handsome men and glamorous women…
We love Lío, one of Ibiza’s most exclusive places: a spectacular show, a luxurious atmosphere, decoration and lighting, amazing views, top notch service… and food that’s fit for a king. If you’ve not already made a reservation, it’s probably too late and you might have to wait until next season. But after dinner, somewhere around 1 am, Lío opens up to the public and becomes Ibiza’s most glamorous nightclub. Bear in mind that Friday is the best day to go and that you’ll need to wear elegant dress and bring cash.
Even more exciting is that Lío is in Botafoch – which is right next to the most exclusive apartments in Ibiza and is where you’ll find the Bahía de Ibiza building and the Terrazas de Botafach building. On 24 May, its opening party will be held. We’ll be there!
If you’re looking for a night out that’s not quite so exclusive – but you’re still looking to shake your stuff – there are summer parties at Pachá Ibiza and Ushuaia (you can walk there from your luxury apartment in the Ibiza Royal Beach building). Amnesia will also hold its own Opening nights.

Everyone has been getting ready to welcome more than 1.5 million visitors in just over 3 months.

Spring returns to Ibiza

Today we have something to celebrate in Ibiza. Well, to be honest, it’s something that should be celebrated all around the world… in due time! Now it’s Spain’s turn.
The arrival of spring is celebrated in nature and in all of us – can’t you feel your heartbeat changing? – even the plants and animals notice the change. It’s time for the bumblebees to go from flower to flower, pollinating the whole world…
And on our white island, which is also your island, spring has arrived. Once again, the season brings along joy in human form, bright-coloured fabrics which cover less and less of the body, and flickering tongues that are ready to tell you that we are back. They are ready to remind you that we are on the cusp of summer, the main course. Spring is truly a mouth-watering appetiser.
Little by little, the sand on your favourite beach on Ibiza, which was yearning for your bare feet, your sarong and your smile, will now be tread upon by Venuses with beautiful curves and handsome Adonises. And where will you be when that moment arrives?

We’re launching a new website because we want to make you happy

Today, we’re not going to talk to you about Ibiza. This might seem strange as this blog is about your favourite island, which is also ours.
We have, however, launched a new website that’s much more functional and complete than the one we previously had.
If you agree then you must already have noticed the change, as you are probably reading this post on the website. If you’re reading it from a terrace, basking in the Ibiza sun as the winter comes to an end, we’re delighted at your good fortune.
We have worked hard and invested a lot of effort and talent into this new site. All with one main goal: to make you happy.
So what does making you happy mean to us? Without a doubt, it means offering you the luxury real-estate product you’re looking for in Ibiza. And, of course, enabling you to find it.
And we believe that this new website makes it much easier for you to do that with a better browsing experience in every way and from every type of device.
